ModulAir

ModulAir is a dry powder inhaler (DPI) designed based on the Design Thinking method of researching customer needs, thanks to which we have created a device that increases comfort of use and improves the quality of inhalation. ModulAir is an inhaler designed based on the latest trends, and its streamlined shape ensures comfort of use. ModulAir is equipped with:

• ergonomic buttons with non-slip tabs
• a contoured mouthpiece for intuitive placement in the mouth
• a transparent window for observing the medicine capsule during piercing

ModulAir is also completely hygienic to use. Thanks to the inhaler cover, the patient can open the inhaler without having to touch the mouthpiece.

ModulAir – patent

ModulAir is a dry powder inhaler developed from scratch by the Pulinno team. Its unique design and mechanism of action are protected by patent Pat.234586.

When developing ModulAir, we created a new approach to medical device design, focusing primarily on patient comfort. We wanted to combine ease of use with high efficiency of the inhaler itself. The unique, modular design allows ModulAir to be used as a low- or high-resistance inhaler, depending on the drug formulation used.

ModulAir – test results

The tests were conducted on original devices and on a Pulinno inhaler manufactured using injection molding technology.
The modular design of the ModulAir inhaler allows for quick adjustment of the device parameters to the required formulation.
